  • Planning and execution of [o3u] lead research projects and contract development, market analysis and product benchmarking of lighting products, feasibility studies and technology assessments as well as daylight analysis and sun-shading studies. Additional responsibilities cover the execution of perception studies in visual and non-visual fields (HCL), along with the preparation of expert reports. Education in light and lighting further supports these activities.

  • Lighting measurements using certified optical measurement devices, product analysis with a focus on identifying improvement potentials, the preparation of lighting reports and documentation. Provision of EPREL measurements and report generation.

  • Expert reports on the visual and non-visual effects of lighting, providing consultancy on artificial lighting, daylighting and the implications of the new daylighting standard, conducting workshops, courses, seminars on lighting fundamentals and optical design.
